Are they metal or plastic?

Its not mine but I have the same model and year I just don't have a side step. I have different shaped tail lights to but other than that this truck is identical to mine. And are those nerf bars that are on it, cause I have the same ones?

Yeah those are nerf bars. And yours is a straight side I take it?

I'm in the middle of a stormtrooper build myself. I've plasti dipped all of my emblems and fenders. Next I'm going to do the door handles. Put in some white hids and paint rims and ill be done!

What's straight side? And what are HIDs? Sorry Im new to body work. BC_F150 that looks really good, are you painting or plasti-diping the rims and handles?

HID's are High Intensity Discharge headlight bulbs. I would not recommend getting an HID kit, all they do is glare into oncoming traffic since they don't shine right in reflector housings. A projector retrofit is the only way to go if you want HID's. if that's not in the skillset or budget, get Sylvania Silverstar ultra bulbs, they're super bright, they're the safest, brightest lights to run in reflector housings.

And a straight side is the regular truck bed. Not a stepside like the one you posted. That's why the tail lights were different.

Don't do the handles. That makes it look cheap. The PTM is so much classier.

Ok thanks for the headlight input. Tommorow I will be taking pics, painting my grill black, and painting my throttle body cover white scone I already have the intake apart (cracked intake manifold). So to paint the fenders and rims could I just go to auto zone and pick up paint or is there a special type I should be looking for? And another newbie question but what's PTM? sorry for the bad spelling I'm tying to do this on my kindle

Krylon fusion does good. Just be sure to clean everything good, it bites into plastics without any scuffing. But again, I'd leave the handles, they flow way better with the truck, plus only the higher packages have them, black ones make it lol cheaper.
