Default 2000 f150 electirc problem??

i recently got a 2000 f150 wiht the 4.6 triton on it but today i was driving and when i stopped and took the key out that mileage indactor had the green dotted line across it and low fuel warning light were still on . i disconnteced the battery and hooked it back up. and when i started it again and shut if off again and the abs and the check engine light was on !! also prior to that the wipers were not workin when u tuned them on. any info or leads will be great

First WAG (wild-*****ed guess) is a problem with the ignition switch block?????

Souds to me like the relay for your ignition is about to take a dump.. And on the wiper blades.. Prolly the wiper relay.. but don't hold me to that.. Just giving my opinion

more to add last night whie i was driving i buzzing sound was coming form the inside fuse panel and the interior and inside door lights were flashing on and off like my truck was possessed and the 4x4 light would flash on and off also.

How clean and tight are the battery cables and ground strap? I've seen two different similar cases, one where corrosion was the cause and the other was from a loose positive cable. You should check all the connections between the battery, starter and all ends of the ground cables. Either one of those two things can cause some weird stuff to happen.
