Alright, so i did some searching around and didn't find much on my first question. I see that the modular's are known to consume oil, but ive lost 3.25 quarts in 2800 miles using valvoline 5w-20 and a wix filter, i know i should have checked it sooner but the last change i did didn't lose a drop. What could this be? I know no one can just pull the answer out of thin air but i just want a little insight, im pretty worried.

Part two, which is what i'm really not happy about. Do our hood cables just snap randomly? I got home to put oil in her and ended up figuring out how to open the hood with a flathead screwdriver for 30 minutes, and how hard are they to replace?
