2 in lowering shackles

I'm getting ready to lower the rear of my 2002 F150 super cab 2wd using lowering shackles, will this effect the ride of the truck?

Shouldn't, your keeping the springs the same. On the F150's, the spring shackle is actually a flip shackle compared to other vehicles. By lowering the truck your actually installing a common lift shackle.
