Hello all. A few weeks ago my tranny wouldn't shift out of 2nd. There wasn't any warning or slipping. I took it to a trusted transmission place and was told i need a new tranny. It did not appear to be electrical because it didn't throw any codes. After that i had my tranny rebuilt as well as the solenoids and o/d switch replaced by a trusted mechanic. It still wouldn't shift smoothly into o/d. Now, as of today, after taking it to an electrical place, I am being told that my computer needs replaced. Does this sound right? Is this common? Could this have been the problem all along? Thank you in advance for your input. Much appreciated.
