Thanks! There were three problems. The alternator was toast ( waiting for the post for the new one), the gem module is draining battery ( I can live with that for now), and the problem with the corroded fuse block.

Btw. I'm in Scotland, posted here, cambletown. Mull of kintyre. Nice place.
