Default 1997 F150 Rev problem

I'm having a problem with my truck when I come to a stop and the clutch is depressed the truck stays rev up for a little bit then comes down a little more and goes to idle when I let go of the brake. I was thinking it might be either a throttle position sensor or idle control valve. Any input would be greatly appreciated the truck is a 4x4 with the 4.6 and 5 speed. Thanks in advance

No check engine light or codes it holds the revs there for about 5-10 seconds after I depress the clutch

No codes, then start with the engine basics, Throttle stop, vacuum leaks, binding throttle cable itself.
