Default 1997 F150 electrical problem

I have a 1997 Ford F-150, 4x4 extended cab, long bed, automatic,w/98000 miles on it. It's in decent shape as well. Recently, after a rainy day or humid mornings - live in Houston, there is an electrical short where the windows, dome light and wipers don't work. One day to three days later, everything works again - I'm guessing it's related to moisture but not sure. Any suggestions welcomed.

Hi I have a 2000 ford f150 ext. cab 5.4L and I have some odd electrical problems on it. For instance the odometer light will flicker on/off, the turn signals/emergency flashers don't work, and the emergency brake light doesn't work at all. I have checked the ground from the battery and it seems to look okay; I even cleaned the ends of it to get a better connection, but that didn't help. Please help me!!

I seem to have a similar issue - I've got the 99 f150 4.6 XLT, which gets electrical gremlins when it gets cold.....below about -25 C I lose the power windows, the radio and the oddometer display. After driving for about 10 mins as everything warms up, they magically work again.

I think it must be one of the relays getting tired, any thoughts?

So I'm not the only one. Have a 97 4.6 XLT. When it gets cold, the ABS light, brake light and seat belt light come on. The turn signals don't work and the heater/AC fan doesn't work. After the truck warms up - bingo, everything back to normal. What do they have in common?

You all are having issue with the blk head connector under the hood. Check it for corrosion.
