I have a 97 f150 4.6 140000 miles last winter it started running bad it was missing and backfiring so I changed the coil packs plugs plug wires air filter fuel filter still didn't fix it so I ran a can of seafoam through it and it ran fine didn't have any more problems with it till this winter it did the same thing so I ran a can of seafoam through it again that worked for about a month and now it's happening again only this time seafoam didn't work any suggestions on what it might be? When it starts running real rough the cel starts flashing

Stop using deadpan for one. That ****s the devil. But try replacing your injectors, I've had the same problem and that's what it ended up being

what kind of coils did you buy? cheap Chinese ones can be causing misfire problems when theres a lot of moisture outside. happened to my friends ranger. used a cheap replacement and it would act up when it was damp out, once he put a motorcraft one on its been fine.
