Default 1997 Electrical Problems
I have recently purchased a 1997 Ford F150 and the gauges and windshields wipers do not work unless the interior dome light if turned on using the dimmer switch. What could be causing this? I have checked the connections into the instrument panel and everything appears ok.

Instrument cluster and dome light are on different circuits. IC is on fuse 2 and DL on fuse 14, both 5A. Someone put IC on the same circuit as DL?
