Default 1997 60/40 console compatibility question

I have a 1997 xlt supercab with the 60/40 gray cloth seats and I am wanting to replace my single cup holder console with one like in my 03 supercrew with 60/40 seats and the double cup holder. The supercrew console is shorter and does not stick out into the rear seat. I am wondering if anyone knows, or has done this, what would directly bolt in? Would a supercrew console be a direct swap? If I have to use another supercab console from 00-03 will they directly swap? What else would work. My 1997 console is in pretty good shape otherwise. The front of the cupholder where it meets the cloth does bulge out a bit. It is just below the lip where it turns down. It looks like it got smashed out a bit. I can push it back in but it won't stay flush. I thought about trying some glue and holding it in position for awhile to set. If I end up keeping it does anyone have a fix for keeping it flush?
Besides a salvage yard and ebay, any good places to buy consoles from?

Thanks,

MoJoWales

Default Bump on supercrew to supercab front seats

Hello sorry for the bump. I would like to swap my front seats on 97 supercab with a supercrew but I don't see the plugs are the same. It looks like the brakes will line up but the power seat might not work. Please respond as the seats are nearly perfect and I would love to have new seats.

No you will have to swap the seats if you want to retain the 60/40 split bench.

The seat should bolt in no problem btw. You will have to tap the screw holes possibly.

I went back and tried them in. I put the driver side in but and it bolted right in.I did not buy them because the motor would not move. One plug was diferent so I cut it off and spliced the other one in. Same color wire but it didn't work. Would it be the motor that was burnt. One of the motors on my old seat works but the other does not. If I fix the motor would it work? Or am I doing something wrong?
