Default 10th Gen Bumper replacements.

Hey guys, I've always been interested in the idea of getting a bumper replacement for the 2003 Ford F-150 XL cab. Cost has always been an issue for me so I had the idea of welding my own. Anyone have any premade directions for a grill guard or bumper replacement?

These two are kind of bases for what I'd like.

I've been looking to do my front end too however I won't spend new prices for whatever style that I decide to go with (bull bar, brush guard, grille guard, etc) so I have been searching craigslist and offerup but the problem is everyone wants new prices for used. So then I thought about just getting some steel and bending and weld my own but steel prices are through the roof as well. So my current idea is to just buy/fabricate a front receiver hitch and install a good winch like the way the Park Rangers had them in the old days.

Also, you will have to take in to account the weight of those things, they are kinda heavy and you will probably lose 1-2 miles per gallon on average. I know this because I lost 2 MPG after installing my heavy steel toolbox and all the crap I put in it.

1-2 mpg from a different bumper and 2 mpg from a tool box? Ehhhh

Weld your own. Steel isn't that expansive where I'm at. Or buy a move like stated
