I have a 2002 fx4 and the driver side power window quit working just a click sound from under the dash

Go to the relay that is clicking.... Press firmly on the relay and move it up and down as you attemp to roll down the window. Bout 99% sure thats your issue.

 

If the relay doesn't do it for you, you may have to take apart the switch itself and make sure the contacts are connecting. I've never had to do it to a F150, but I have needed to do it to at least half a dozen other vehicles in the past. Same goes for power mirror switches.

 

Relay clicking shows current through the actuating switch to the rely/ Likely switch good.

 

Yes, doesn't mean pin 86/87 is hitting their connectors. Have seen several be able to roll down the window because it's a different circuit but unable to roll it up because the relay has worked it's way loose

 

Similar thing happens from time to time with my 1997. It's almost as if there is a lot of friction between the window and it's surroundings, because sometimes it works and sometimes I just hear the relay.
