Default 02 f150 won't start

I have 02 f150 2wd 300000 miles was running prefect. Then just turn over won't start it's getting spark will run for a second on starting fluid. I need to check codes. Does anyone have a simple way to check for fuel. I can't hear fuel pump but not sure.

There should be a purge valve on the fuel rail. Give it a press and that'll show u if you have fuel coming to the engine.

Go grab a fuel pressure gauge from AutoZone for free using the Loan A tool service if you want to thoroughly test the fuel pressure. I would be willing to bet that your fuel pump has died. The easiest way to test this is to turn the key to the on position (but not start) and listen for the fuel pump priming. The noise will come from the rear of the driver window, since the pump is located inside the gas tank. Turn it on (again, no start) and off several times while listening. If you don't hear anything, your pump is dead. Should be a $100 fix if you do the work yourself

Well that's a bargaining chip ehh.

While your trying to figure this out, don't continuously crank it over for than 3 seconds. The injectors will auto shut down @ 4 seconds.
