A very important question you have to ask yourself before buying a programmer, what are your expectations for the money?
I say this because if you buy a canned tune off the self I'm afraid you will be disappointed. A custom tune that is designed to your wants is the way to go if you are able to spend $500. I have a Superchips Micro Max and it meets my expectations for the money I spent, got it on sale new for $209 delivered over the $400 reg price. If I had of payed the $400 I would not be happy. All I wanted was a firmer shift and a little pick up on acceleration and that is what I got plus the ability to change my speedo for larger tires.
Just read all you can on the forums and know what your getting and yes they plug in the obd port under the dash and are very easy to program.
