Solo Performance Mach-46 4" Single Exhaust System
Hey all,
I am selling my 4" Solo Performance Stainless Steel exhaust system off my 2012 Screw 5.0.
This was originally a MR400 4" Single Exit exhaust kit from Solo Performance, it was a little loud for me so I added a Solo Mach-46 muffler to the system as you can see in the photos. So, basically, this is a MR400 system with a Mach-46 muffler to quiet it down. Everything is stainless steel.
The system is welded together and was taken off the truck in one piece. I can cut it up for shipment, or keep it together. It could easily be welded into place if taken apart for shipment.
As far as sound is concerned it really sounds awesome. By adding the Mach-46 muffler it eliminated the interior drone completely, but still provides a great, deep/aggressive sound outside. (See my profile for links to youtube sound clips).
You could remove the Mach-46 or the MR400 resonator to personalize the sounds you want. The Mach-46 was much quieter than the MR400, but there was still drone at highway speed, so I added the MR400 resonator back in and it fixed the problem.
This system is for a 5.0, but I'm sure it would work for a Ecoboost too.
I paid $700 for the original MR400 system, and an additional $100 for the Mach-46 (Solo gave me a deal on this muffler since I wasn't totally happy with MR400 sound).
Asking $400.

The Mach-46 reduced the amount of noise inside the truck dramatically at all RPMs, the sound outside was not affected much. But the Mach-46 muffler alone still had a little bit too much drone around the 1800-2000 rpms range for me, so I added the MR400 resonator back in, and it got rid of the annoying drone at about 70-75 mph.
