I bought a unit off of a guy in here a few months ago...believe it was one of the cheaper units. His name was cobra93 I think. Has a factory look, works good but prob not as smooth ir user friendly as my pioneer unit was. He did an entire write up on it here somewhere.

So this does navigation? And does it retain all of the stock steering wheel controls? Is sync no longer used and the unit uses a different system as far as voice commands?

It does navigation as long as your phone does...reflects the image onto the unit or you can order stand alone which I never did. I preferred my phones apps (waze) to most built in systens anyhow because of the ability to update. Steering wheel controls, yes it has the SWC harness and module. It replaces Sync features with blue tooth, I hate sync with a passion so I actually prefered it but to each their own. Makes calls, plays ipod music, etc.

I'm sure the same goes with droid, but there are several pioneer apps (app radio, etc) that do stuff with your phone as well.

Unfortunately I didn't even think of that before I took it out, but here are a few of it in...one is it playing a DVD, other I think is the view of the WAZE map app reflecting off of my phone onto the unit..
