2011 XLT Mirrors - SOLD
These mirrors came off a 2011 XLT with 5000 miles on them. They are power (not power fold), heated, signal and auto dimming. In very good condition, a little dirty when taken off truck but will clean right up. Crappy phone pictures so the quality is not the greatest. I am looking to get $225 shipped to the lower 48.

Those mirrors list for $500 each! I replaced mine with a set of tow mirrors (stock) that were also heated with signal lamps on the rear facing sides only. Thy cost around $350 a pair. Don't ask me where Ford got the XLT stock price of $500 each or $1000 a pair. So I put them up on eBay for $500 for both-no takers.
My original intent was to find a pair of power-folding tow mirrors. The ones made for the F-250 & 350 will not fit. Ford does not make them for the F-150. So far all my research has turned up is unless someone makes an after market mod kit to adapt the 250/350 mirrors, I am out of luck. But I did manage to put a set of running lights on the roof! (Ford doesn't have that option for the F-150 either). I mounted the lights myself and learned a few things you might keep in mind if you want to do it, like not putting any weight on the roof and when drilling the three holes needed for each of the five lamps keep a steady hand, use a new sharp drill bit and don't apply too much pressure. You will dimple each hole drilled slightly but once the lights are mounted the dimples will flatten out When tightened.
If anyone has better input concerning the power fold tow mirror application for 2011 F-150's please let me know.
