Looking for a good radar detector and possibly someone who can make stickers for my windshield at better pricing than ebay!

Please feel free to PM me.

Valentine One, any other radar detector is a waste of money IMO. Runs for $400 but will save you that tenfold in avoided tickets.

Escort 9500ix, Escort Redline, and the Escort Max are all better than the V1. The V1 is outdated, and the arrows are nearly pointless. If my radar detector goes off, I'll be slowing down regardless of the direction it's coming from. The V1 will have tons if false alerts, as well, so you will be slowing down a lot for no reason.

eBay. But they aren't cheap anywhere. A good quality detector will set you back at least $300.

I use an Escort Blue 8500 x50 that I love and has saved me more than a few times. They're around $150-200 on eBay. Don't get cocky though, laser / lidar on the highway will get you no matter what

You're not going to find them any cheaper than that. You get what you pay for.

I figured I'd try. Regardless, the 8500's Escort - how much distance on avg or how accurate are they?

Do they have a memory in them to kill off false alarms? I thik I had a 9500 if that would make sense.

Costco here is selling a whistler for 99$ not sure how good they are though
