i want to make a flat bed for my truck, any ideas about how and how much?

 

You take the bed of a black F150 Nite, cut the sides off, and bolt it on using 142 1/4" self tapping sheet metal screws.

 

not likely.. seriuosely, i think i know how to do it but i would like if som1 has done it to help out a little

 

Helped a buddy do his Toyota... Best way to get the measurements was to use 2x4's, build the outer frame using 45's on all the corners... The wood will be cheap and get you in the right area measurement wise for 3x1.5" boxed steel... Figure out cross beams and whether you want a wood or sheet metal top...
