ok today i received my AFE stage 2 dry filter kit. I put that on took out the plastic twist things in the tubes and went for a test ride. now the SCT Livewire says my max boost was 18.41 for the short run i took it on. believable? is the question im asking that's a 2psi increase from stock also its harder to bark the wheels going into second over the stock intake. just a little info to share and some feed back please thanks all for your help

Just adding a intake shouldn't increase your boost level. I would repeat the test a few times to make sure it wasn't a fluke or something.

bump for Monday!

Hey Franchi, It wasn't a fluke i keep getting 17/18 PSI with the intake. all i have is the intake the Livewire with 87tune and rev limiter moved up and governor removed. I thought the same, that is why i was asking. other than that the tuner is smoking, can't wait to put some 93 in it, and the intake is awesome, don't mind the sound it makes love the turbo spin up and you can here it close when u let off the gas.

thanks again sir

It does not have a 89 tune we don't have 91 octane gas where we live. Can I run 89 on the 87 or 89 tune. Thanks
