My mom wants a car, but my dad wants another truck, so I'm wanting an El Camino (when they bring the Holden Ute tp this country)
But hopefully the G8 GT, Full back seat F150, or... ugh.....a Dodge Dakota (My dad likes them)

 

a buddy at work has the new dakota and likes it, but i won't ride with him. we just sold our expedition and have now bought an 08 escape, pick it up on mar 14. we looked at the 08 sport trac with the 4.6 and 6 speed and are approved for financing, but it's a 8 week wait for them to build it, so scratch that idea. i'm keeping my f150 tho.

 

My dod seriously loves the sport track.
How do they compare to the the F150?

WOWOW! Those are expensive.
The one thing I hate about new trucks, you can't get a V8 with a stick.
ANy no AM/FM/CD/Cassettes anymore

 

i picked the top of the line for comparison. the one we looked at was 40000 CAD. it was 665/month. we got the escape for 513/month. that 4.6 should rock tho

 

I guess you can't get the Sport Track with the 330? 281 Ain't bad though, but he main questions are:
Can it pull the trailer?
Will the trailer need a lift kit?
Does it have a function to make the brakes on the trailer come on when you press the brakes?
Can it come with a stick?

 

no 330, but the 281 has the same 3 valve design as the 5.4 f150. it is rated to pull around 7000 lbs with the 4.6 and 4x2. i don't think the trailer will need a lift. no brake function that i know of. and it comes with a stick if you get the base 4.0 v6.
