I'm always seeking help on the vehicles I drive and hope to pick your knowledge of the 2009-2014 F150. I just recently purchased a used 2013 King Ranch with the 5.0L V8. Loved this model since the first time I saw one, now I have one and so far loving it.
If anyone reads this and can direct me to the proper page or topic, I'd appreciate it.
I have 2 concerns that I'd like to put to bed. I'll start with the simplest one, my rear defrost doesn't work. I've checked the fuses and replaced the relay to no avail. I'm thinking there's a problem with the connection at the window where the power leads connect to the heater wiring in the glasses. If anyone has had this problem or can direct me to a page herein or on another site, I'd appreciate it.
BTW, I'm a DIY'er when it comes to working on my vehicles. Anything from oil changes to suspension repair/replacement, I investigate the problem and if I think it's within my abilities, I do it.

edit: that being said, the mirror defrosters are tied to this exact same switch. Just because the switch is not lighting up doesn't mean the mirrors aren't defrosting though.

I bet you didn't expect to get a response. The non working rear defroster is typical in these. My 13 had the same problem and as much as I researched, the only way to fix it is to replace the entire, very expensive, rear window. The heating element actually breaks somewhere in the window so there's no fixing it.
