what is a leveling kit ? that just a word for lift kit or?

 

It levels the truck out. On a stock truck the Front of the truck sits lower than the back of the truck. A leveling kit will raise the front of the truck 2-3" to "level" the truck. Will also allow for bigger tires can fit up to a 35" tire after a leveling kit on the 2004-2008 models I know. Ill be adding a 2.5" leveling kit to mine next week and will be installing the 33" Nitto Trail Grapplers once they arrive at the tire shop!

Nice pick on tires! I just bought the 305/75/16 nitto terrain graps and cannot be happier. Dont know the MD version but these ride quiet and do well in mud-gravel and wet sofar. almost snowed here but the afternoon temps got to high.
