Anyone know of a good place in north Jersey to get my windows tinted?

 

when you say north jersey what county are you thinking?

i know a great place in Sussex county but not sure if thats too north for you

 

Sussex county is ok.

 

the place is called Frisbee Enterprises and its located in Lafayette, NJ. i couldnt find a website for them but here are some:

they are more expensive then other fly by night shops but they do outstanding work. you definitely get what you pay for

if my memory serves me right it was $275 to have my old maxima tinted (5% back 15% front)

Might be a stupid question, but is tinting the windows in NJ illegal, won't pass inspection and get you 50-ed? Love to get it done myself. South Jersey here!

 

You don't have to worry about inspection in NJ anymore regarding anything except emissions testing. However, it wont stop you from getting a ticket in NJ. Here is what can legally be done in NJ:

Windshield No tint is allowed on the windshield.

Front Side Windows No tint can be applied legally to this window.

Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used.

Rear Window Any darkness can be used.
