Default PA Weight Classification

I just bought my 2010 and it is inspected until 8/14 but they put a weight class 2 sticker on the windshield also! I've heard that the F150 does not require this classification being a 1/2 ton pick up but what do I need to do to get rid of it? I imagine that the registration costs more for class 2 also!

I am fairly certain you can register the truck below class two if you want to save money on the yearly registration because it's a 1/2 ton. With that being said, if you use your truck for hauling such as mulch, stone, dirt or whatever most places will not load you if they use scales. Our trucks are over the class one weight sitting empty.
