Anyone interested we have an event coming up solely for trucks. It's the Smoke and Speed Island of Trucks put on by the North Atlantic Truck Racing Series (NATRS).
September 6th and 7th gates open at 5:00 PM. Gas and Diesel will be in separate classes.
Posted on FB, for those without access for anyone who wants to race.
Attention all GAS TRUCKS!!
For the Island of Trucks event, you will have your own class and will not be lumped in with the diesels.
Gas trucks class will be heads up, pro tree .400, 1/8mile, $50/entry fee.
There will be no gas trucks allowed in the E.T. Bracket class or 7.70 Index for this event! We've had a lot of gas trucks come race with us this year, majority have wanted a heads up class. Here's your chance to show support for it!!
Anyone interested post up so we can make it a gathering on one of those days or both once the schedule is announced.
Anyone know if the DMV will give a hard time for tints on the front windows and a small narrow strip at top of windshield during inspections? I haven't had to get a vehicle inspected since 2011.

Nothing they can do anymore, they only check emissions. It’s the local PDs that will harass you if they want.

Just pull up with the windows all the way down. You'll likely be all good.

Nice! So all the other stuff they used to check, tires, lights all that is not done anymore for newer vehicles, just hook up OBDII scanner and thats it?

Actually they don’t check anything except emissions for all vehicles.
