Anyone near The Hood? Alway up for some shop talk and comparative thinking on projects.

 

I'm about 45 minute south of The Hood on the Estacada side of the Hood National Forest. I live out here on a Forest Service compound, Job Corps Staff

In the early '70's - early '80's I was a Service Tech based in Portland & my territory went as far as Maupin. The last 20 years of a 37 year career were in CT & I was sure surprised at how much OR had changed when I got back in 12/2012.

In 2014 I was tagged doing 80 mph in Hood River - last speeding ticket was in 1999 but CT doesn't have traffic laws. They just seem to be suggestions or recommendations & my step-daughter used to call those red octagon signs "Stoptional."

That's too bad. We're gonna be in Hood River (actually in Odell) next week for the NW Elks Rally at the county fairgrounds.
