Default Spark Plugs changed!

Okay, I haven't posted in ages but I have been researching the plugs issue!!!

We bought a 2006 150 King Ranch last year but it developed a mis fire about 1000 miles ago......its got 140,000 on the clock.....

So I followed the TSB from Ford, put 1/8 of a turn on one plug at a time (as they cooled down) and squirted some penetrating oil in the plug hole. I started on the right hand bank (cylinder 5,6,7 & 8) No 5 was totally loose and almost fell out! The rest were tight and needed some soak time but no problems. No 8 was really badly gapped and worn and I don't think had been changed when the others had been?

We were getting a cylinder misfire on No 2 according to the fault codes and when I did cylinders 1,2,3 & 4 I found a burn and chip in the insulation on No 2 plug which was good.

No 4 plug did almost break as I removed it, but not in two, the threaded section sort of came loose from the electrode and spun around a bit but it came out in one piece!

So new plugs fitted and the truck runs 100% again!!!

I'd tackle it again if anyone wants some help!
