Default Cold Air Intake

New to Houston area. I have a 2018 w/ 3.5L EcoBoost. Any suggestions or thoughts surrounding adding a cold air intake? Any comments or thoughts welcome!

I was thinking about getting the Roush myself.

Was looking at Roush as well. Understand the performance aspect, and the great sound when accelerating. No experience myself, so concerned about cruising noise. i.e. roadtrip, will the noise in cab be higher etc.

Hey did you install the Roush CAI or go with another? I've got a 2018 Lariat 3.5L, V6. Want a little more sound and a kick in HP but not change the exhaust Assistance?

The "cold air intake" question is like the very first differentiator any person can ask on any car or truck forum. It tells everyone where the poster's starting knowledge is.

My suggestion would be to learn how to define what "cold air intake" means first. Clue - it doesn't really mean anything. No offense intended, learning purposes only, but it really doesn't mean anything. Except "I want to install a shiny bauble on my vehicle".

Seriously, it's incredible how many people ask this question. It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Pod people.

No offense to the OP. I can see how they would get sucked in. The manufacturers are working this scam for all that they can get.
