Building a 5.0 Coyote and am looking for a shop that can do Blueprint and Balancing. Wanting to stay local within a 4-5 hour drive from Dallas.
Gas Monkey comes to mind Maybe search for "high performance automotive North Texas".
So what are planning on doing to the engine and what are you putting it in? By brother in law in Grand Prairie just got a Whipple added to his 24' Mustang GT with the performance package. Crazy power now - 810HP.
Do you have a camper, I'm always looking for fellow campers to met up with at a park? Where do you live in NTX?

I’ll have to look into Gas Monkey.
The motor will be going into my ‘14 F150. Live east of Dallas just outside Greenville, TX. I do have a camper but due to life being a bit chaotic I haven’t had much time to use it in the last year and a half. Funny enough camping is one of the reasons I bought the Supercharger kit lol. Last 5 years or so me and the family have really enjoyed going to Colorado for vacation and twice now I’ve pulled the camper there and back with the truck. Problem is when the camper is fully loaded I’m estimating the weight is somewhere between 7k-7,500 lbs. In Texas the weight isn’t much of a problem being well under 1,000 ft elevation but by the time we get to the small town that we usually stay in (South Fork, CO) that’s around 8,200 ft elevation I can feel the truck starting to struggle. After always staying in the same area we kinda want to go further into Colorado to see new things but I don’t know if I want to attempt pulling the trailer over some of the mountain passes that can reach 10k-12k ft in elevation. Because of this the trip we’re planning for this August the camper will be staying at home and we’ll probably just use tents. As for the other reason I got the supercharger I guess it’s just the kid in me that really wants a boosted V8 lol.
Bought a Roush R2300 Stage 2 kit but started to get worried about putting boost to the engine as it has 185k miles on it and after looking into what it’d cost and be required to do to rebuild the engine I came to the conclusion that it’d be best to just build a new engine to swap in. So I’ll be building a 3-2-1 Coyote. Gen 3 block, Gen 2 heads, and Gen 1 cams/timing components. Since I’ll be building everything from the ground up I’m gonna go ahead and throw in some forged rods and pistons as the Gen 1 Coyotes came with the worst rods but because of this I want the motor Blueprinted and Balanced to make sure it runs smooth. Roush rated their Stage 2 kit for the 12th Gen F150’s at 570ish hp which IMO is a bit of a let down for a boosted 5.0 Coyote. So I want to try to push for around 700ish as I know I’ll start pushing the limits on 93 around there.
I've been through Greenville a few times on trips it is good to be out of this over grown, still growing metroplex. I'm about 15 minutes W of the S entrance to DFW airport. My brother in law that lives in Grand Prairie just got a Wipple blower on his 24' Mustang GT with the performance package, then some wider tires 305 back and 285 front. Rated at 810HP. CO is beautiful I have seen a lot of the state and once lived in CO Springs, I wish I never had to leave. That's quiet the project, hope you have a AC unit for your garage, its getting hot. Here's a few photos of my brother in laws mean ride.
