Red face The Beastly E4OD's Torque Converter.

My 1991 F -150 Straight 6, E 40D Tranny needs a torque converter. I cannot find the specifics on it such as: low or high stall, lockup, pilot, Etc. I was able to give the Vin to Ford and they gave me the model # f7tz7902EARM and price. So, I was shopping around because I see a difference of 200.00 almost but, no one can provide the torque's breakdown information and I cannot locate it. Does anyone know where to look? I called transmission shops and was told these tranny's are outdated so they don't work on them. From the way it's going, my best bet is to order from Ford and pay another 200. ! And still gotta get seals, fluid etc. thanks for reading.

What kind of prices have you come up with? Are you looking for performance or towing? I have built a few 500hp+ 4R100's for the 7.3 diesel and the E40D's are very similar. I am very familiar with their internals. Let me know what you're looking for and I'll try to help you out.
