Does anybody know which digit in the VIN Indicates box length?

No but I worked for Ford for 9 years and I figured out a trick. I'm almost 6 feet tall, walk up and put your arms out, if they touch both sides of the box its the 5'7" box, if they don't reach it's the 6'7" box and if they really don't reach its the 8' box
