Just bought a 2018 F-150 with sync connect. I hooked up the App and the auto start is great. Have a couple questions for fellow canadian owners. How does the App work with the truck. Is Sync connect free? I read on an older webpage its free for 5 years? If so is this in Canada?

I believe that they've removed the 5 year limit. It should be free more or less permanently.

It works great, no problems. It also works in the US just fine.

Nope. Sorry, I can't. I do remember reading it here somewhere, but now I can't find it.

I do know that none of the literature that came with my new truck mentioned an expiry or renewal cost.

In short, I could be totally wrong and repeating incorrect info. Not my intent, but I guess that proves that free information is worth what you pay for it.
