Default Spare tire size

So here is my question. I purchased a 2012 F150 FX6 with 20 inch rims and 35`inch tires on it. My spare tire is a stock 18 inch rim on a 275-55-18, this tire will not fit because of the lift kit. I have gone to the dealer who is not sure if they should replace the spare with a 275-55-20 so that it will fit on the truck. Just wondering if there is a MTO statute that states the requirements concerning spare tires and safety certificates.

Thumbs up

All is good. The dealer did replace the stock spare tire with another 35 inch tire and matching Cepek rim. The dealer told me that l was the first to notice this problem and that he was sorry that it happened. Now thats a good dealer! Customer service is priority one to them!!
