Need to splice wires from a (XL3F 12A699 AA) knock sensor that fits into the newer 4.6l block that I am putting into my 1997 F150. The connector is cut off this sensor(harness has a black and red wire) and the harness for the 1997 F150 has a black and white wire. Does anyone know how the wires should be connected is it black to black and white to red???
