Default Inspection for Import

Hey there! I currently live in Kansas and I have a 2015 Ecoboost, absolutely modified. Unfortunately I'm moving to London Ontario for school this summer so I have to do vehicle inspection, it will be the first inspection I have to do on my truck since 2016. Currently I have after market grill, after market fog light, exhaust system with cut off valve, also oversized tire but speed meter already adjusted by forscan. May I get some recommendations on what I should remove from truck or maybe something else related to inspection, thank you!

not sure about inspection but do get your truck rust proofed if you are planning to use in winter.

Remove nothing. I can't speak for all scenarios, but Canada typically doesn't care about basic vehicle mods. Safety will be the main goal of the inspection. They won't care about your aftermarket grill or your upsized tires. They probably won't even care about your exhaust cutouts, just as long as you don't roll into the inspection bay with them uncapped.

They look for stuff like rotted out frames, cracked windshields, non-functioning brakes, etc.

One thing they'll probably want to see though is daytime running lights. They might crank about the MPH speedo. Little KM/H stickers placed onto the speedo temporarily might solve that if they do.

All inspectors are different, and you'll never know who you're going to get. I speak from experience of having to get my large commercial work truck inspected every six months. One inspector finds nothing, and then six months later another inspector nit-picks with a long list of things.

Once the inspection is done, you'll still have time to fix any problems. It's not like they'll 'hold' your vehicle, unless it's such a piece or crap that it's deemed a serious safety issue.

Thank you so much! Yes I do have both mph and kph on speed meter so it should be fine

I live in midwest of United States, weather here is not warm enough to melt snow but also not cold enough to make sure snow wont melt and then re-froze. I mean I have already get too much salts here in the past 6 years. But may I have some recommendations on rust proof?
