Default Emmision's question

Hey guys.so Iam a little worried that i might not Pass the etest due to some of the mods Ihave done in my truck.The mods I have are Flowmaster American thunder Cat-back, KN air intake, and a Diablo sport Running a CAI91 tune is this something of concern or iam just being paranoid?

I'm not 100% sure, but l've heard that some of the aftermarket tune's have caused some trucks to fail. I guess it depends on how far the tuning takes them away from stock settings. Some will reprogram the truck a few weeks prior to taking it in for the test.

I have read that some of the newer trucks have memory for a certain amount of time, so that the tester can see if it has gone through the warmup cycle without any probolems. The rest of the modifications l think are okay for the emissions test.

Cant you just set your tune back to factory and take your tuner out? I was talking to the shop forman at our local ford dealership and he told me, to avoid voiding my warranty set tune back to factory and take the programmer out of the truck before i take it in
