I plan on heading down to Nordegg at the end of the month. Going to do some hiking around the Ram Falls and the Crescent Falls, and do a day hike into the old mining town as well as a night hike into it. Probably spend a few days down there. I'll do that after I quit with Total, and before I start up with ESRD.

well, i wish i could join. but maybe in the summer we could have an alberta members get together in nordegg. quadding n camping would be great.

myself, i'm not one to use a gun, but it would be ok if someone had some "bear protection" out there lol

When I was there in the fall I just packed some bear spray while out in the bush. Never even saw a bear or cougar (the four legged kind).

Since we've got some activity in this thread I'll advertise this again; I have a Go Rhino 3000 Brush Guard for sale. It's black, and features the step to look into the engine compartment. The brackets to mount it go above the factory tow hooks, so you don't lose use of the hooks. The headlight guards and the bars that mount inside of them are removable if you prefer the push bar look. Also have two holes for adding driving lights.

I was originally asking $600, but have since lowered the asking price to $500.

It's near Rocky Mountain house. Crappy little town with 3 houses and a gas station - but the trails are endless.
