I have a 2006 xlt with 4.6 l v8 and today I went to reset my trip odometer and I held the button in on the regular odometer page instead and the word zone and then a number popped up if I kept pushing the button the number would change. Any idea of what this is

 

It is for your gps direction. It changes your location zone to correct for magnetic north. Your manual will give you more info on it.
