My 2006 for lariat has wipers that go on by themselves and shut off by themselves at will and they are not sutomatic rain wipers...so what gives??? yes I try to urn them off and nothing happens and the keep on going till I stop the motor...sometimes a week goes by and all is fine but sometimes two or three tims in a day they just come on then go off...Argh and my wife only laughs when that happens... so what is the fix? thank you or possible a solution??. 142k on the truck .... Getting ready to change box to Flare side and remove stripes(that is done) White box going on my 2005 which is a flareside limited ...and finish the body work on it before i sell it with new paint as it will be style side and very nice...and as nice as this one is...so zombie wipers?
Try checking the fuse for the wipers. Should be a diagram in your manual that will tell you which fuse to pull. Could be a short and maybe hitting a bump or something is causing them to turn on...
