yoke grease

Default yoke grease

What's everyone using to grease the drive shaft yokes with without going to a dealer and buying Ford grease?

Do a google search. Out of curiosity so did I and found nothing besides Motorcraft.

did not know there was a requirement to grease the yoke...

They are coating in a "permanent lube" its blue on most fords. Past 100k it wouldnt be a terrible idea to drop the shaft and check it out.

I assume you mean the slip yoke not the u joints right?

Go to the Dealer and buy the grease. It should be cheap. I have a tube of it somewhere where I can pull then name off.

Yes I'm talking about the slip yoke. I get the clunk every now and then. When I was changing my oil last time, while under the truck I can see how much it has been moving.

It's not as bad as my GMC 2500 I had. I had to grease that slip yoke every 10k miles.
