Default Yet another plug question...

If this has been answered several times already I apologize in advance, couldn't find the answer to my specific question in old posts...

Ford obviously knows there is an issue with the plugs. The maintenence interval suggests 100k replacement. I am at about 55k on my 2004 and am wondering if I should do this early on.

The question: Will the dealership do the plugs on this model vehicle now knowing the plugs will likely break? what tends to be their position on this subject?

im sure many of you have been down this road already, thanks in advance

The dealership will change the plugs. There is a special tool they have now to pull them out. I have an ' 06 at 33,000 and i just had mine changed out for ease of mind... Ran me 127.50 for labor and ~$18 per plug

Default Plugs...

The dealer will for sure replace the plugs. The fireBoy was right in saying there is a tool to remove broken plugs. However, it's not necessary unless you break the plugs.

Ford's new suggested mileage for spark plug replacement is now 60,000 miles on these trucks.
