Default WTF?!?! Already...

Truck is seriously pissing me off, 48k and the Fuel sending unit is going out. At least i hope its the Fuel sending unit and not the pump. Also heater either has a bad switch or Thermostat is going out or something.

Did i mention don't have $$..

What is weird about these models is that the control for the fuel pump is placed in a very vulnerable place next to the spare tire and all it has is a plastic cover to protect a small computer board. Any rock or debris could break it and allow moisture inside. Def look into that and I had my mechanic relocate it to a more protected area. Def look onto that, it is really easy to relocate it..

Thanks, I'll have a look at it this Weekend hopefully see where it can be moved too.. Funny part is i may not have a issue at all, Found the Fuel Cap was not On Completely nor tight, fixed it,drove it about 10 Mins then Gauge read full which was correct.. Just going to watch it before i drop over a $100 Bucks.

Now just have have the heater looked at, Can't tell if a bearing is going out in the blower housing or WTF, It only does it sometimes.

Default Fuel gauge sender

Unfortunatley the gauge sender and the pump are sold as a single unit Idont know if you can even buy them seperately I know you said coins are short but even if you find a sender with the laber involved you would be ill advised not to change the pump while you are in there. First check all of the wire conections and if the problem persists you will have to decide how much you need a gas gauge.Bubbabud 2011 XLT SC Ecoboost

would that cause the gauge to read incorrectly aswell as the info center where it tells you how many k to empty?
