Default Wrong transfer case or wrong transfer case motor

So here goes...I have a 2005 f150 with the 4.6 v8 4x4. When I got it the 4x4 didn't work and I noticed there's 2 wires hanging from the transfer case. I now know they are supposed to go into the plug on the transfer case motor. However, there's no pinholes on the plug to accommodate the two wires. I'm just at a loss on what to do. I see there's atleast 2 versions of the transfer case that fits my truck (or atleast supposed to) Also see there's atleast 2 different shift motors that fit my truck. Can anyone give me some insight into this?

I have discovered via VIN decoder that I'm supposed to have a warner44-06 transfer case. What do the next 6 numbers mean after 44-06? Example: 44-06-000-026

A couple of photos would help.
The shift motor has two wires going to it and one is RD (Red) and the other is BK/LG (Black/Light Green). Please confirm these are the wires you are asking about. Photos showing the connectors please.

i cant really get photos at the moment because the truck is at the shop and I think the mechanic is confused too. I'm fairly certain I have the correct transfer case in (44-06) even tho I'm not sure what the 6 digits after that on the sticker mean. There are two wires coming from the transfer case that look to be cut but the TCM plug that's on now doesn't have a place to connect the two wires. I will admit I haven't peeled the casing away from the two wires that are hanging but from reading from a few different forums I thought they were supposed to be brown and black? Even looking on eBay at used TCM a lot of them have two wires coming from the plug that are cut which I'm assuming are the two that go to the transfer case

Also, see how both of these are 44-06? But they each have different numbers after it says 44-06

I think that once we figure out what the two wire colors are we can solve the issue.
