I have an '11 F150 with a 5.0l. The other day and all of a sudden an orange wrench appeared on the display. The speedometer would stop working, odometer would show dashes only and the transmission would not advance into 6th or decelerate any lower than 3rd. Once i turn off the ignition and start it up again, everything is back to normal. This has happened a few times. Any help is much appreciated

 

sounds like a possible lead frame issue

 

i see there is a recall on the lead frame. I will speak to a dealer.
