Default Would this look goofy??

I want to put a 1.5" leveling kit on my 08 Screw 4x4,but I dont want to buy larger tires until my Bridgstone revo's wear out,and even then I only want to go up one size to 275/60-20.I am on stock 20's.How would this look?I have seen 1 or 2 pics of stock screws with 3" kits and they look a little odd at some angles. Can people with screws with a 1"-2.5" leveling kits and stock tires and rims please post some pics??

Thanks in advance everyone.

I dont have a screw, but if you're only going to a 1.5 inch kit, I'd say you're well in the clear. I have a 2.5 kit on mine and it did kinda look a little goofy with my stock rims and tires. But once I upgraded it really set the truck off. So with the amount of difference you're going to lift the front, you'll be fine with your stock wheels. Are you wanting to keep the truck slightly tail-high?

No I am actually wanting to get it about level,I took measurements and the front fenderwell is around 2" lower, but this is without the 200 pounds of tools that I carry in the bed 95% of the time.

And Brad do you think the 1" taller 275/60-20's would change your opinion at all?I will be replacing the tires in about 20k when these wear out. Most likely gonna go with cooper zeon ltz or firestone destinations, unless anyone has a suggestion in the same price range.....I would go even larger if you can tell me how to do it for under $200 per tire.

BTW Can anyone give their opinion of the cooper zeon ltz and/or firestone destination a/t's?

stock tires (32's) here and a 1.5 leveling kit. i dont think it looks goofy at all. they look good with their nose up, not facing the ground. i was gonna wait to put on my as level until i got tires, but then saw an 06-08 KR with stock tires and like a 2 or 2.5 and loved it so on it went.

I think it will look fine when you get new tires, however I think you should wait until you get tires and get the level kit put on at the same time by the same shop. Usually they will cut you a huge break on install of the kit if you buy all the tires and mount and balance them through that same shop.

Ya it is too bad we can't fit 16" rims.I used to have a z71 gmc with 16s and could have gotten 33's and even 35's for well under $200 a peice...

That Looks beautiful. It is exactly the look I want to get.Anyone got pics with the stock 20"s and tires?I know fivespeed's are the same diameter but I would still love to see some pics on stock 20's.I wonder why the 4x4 trucks never come level from the factory? Not just the fords either, the new chevy's look horrible.unlevel trucks bug the hell outta me!!!!
