Default would i be runing lean?

i know there is tons of threads about this,, but i just want someone to really clarify,, i have an 05 f150 with the 4.6,, currently i have the airaid tube instead of the fatory intake tube,, along with the drop in filter,, thinking about getting an edge evo for the truck,, do guys think it would run lean even if the maf is in the stock place?,, i mean its not really a cai system,,

I run the Volant in my truck with advanced timing and I don't have any issues at all. 2007 F-150 FX4.

Although I will say that at this time I can't tell if I'm running lean without a wideband AFR.

The lean issue is related to the 5.4L engine.

You have a 4.6, no issue.

Regardless, with only the intake tube and filter in place, not a complete WAI, you shouldn't be running lean on either engine.

alright thanks thats what i wanted to know,, if it was only on the 5.4 or on both,, now i know thanks man
