Hello hope someone can help me. I just bought a 2006 F150 XLT with the 5.4L 161xxx on the clock. Ran great and got a good deal (rethinking that thought) drove it home about 15 min into the drive everything going smothly till the end. felt like truck stop receiving input from the gas pedel would just run then started to studder like it was being starved of fuel. then it died would crank over would start but once i put it back into gear it would act up aging and die. unfortunately it now just turns over and does not try to start. the scane gauge i have shows the rails are gettting 40psi for fuel, i have changed out the fpdm (fuel pump Divers module), also have changed out the fuel filter as well. if anyone has any ideas on what it could be i would be very greatful.

 

Check for RPM signal while cranking using a scan tool. If RPM stays at 0, CKP sensor is likely toast.

Any OBD codes?

 

The scan tool shows about 250 rpm and the gauge cluster does show the rpm gauge jump as well.
