So I purchased a remote start system about 2 weeks ago, it works off the factory remote. To start the truck I press unlock 3 times. I had no problems with the system. Today I installed a set of 4z bedlights (www.4zproducts.com) They work perfectly. However, now when I press unlock once from my remote, the truck starts, then runs for about 15 seconds before shutting itself down. I don't know how this could have happened. The power from the lights comes from my trailer light harness. I tapped into the black and white wire after I tested and confirmed it had power. Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

 

did you turn off priority door.first unlock drivers door second all doors unlock .
have not installed one because of the range on the remote but it must pick up a door motor unlock pulse but i don't know why it will start and turn back off.
